Throughout Britain’s history, man has had two best friends: dogs and horses.  In fact, horses in Britain date back to 700,000 B.C.; meaning that this has been quite the long-lasting friendship.  Horse riding swiftly became a popular sport, with variations including polo and bareback, competitive and friendly.  Since the 1980s, the horse has retired, as working horses were gradually replaced over the years by riding horses; indicating a new function and relationship with the animal. Joseph Giles has crafted the CP1130 to resemble traditional leather horse stirrups.  Made with the finest bridle leather, and dyed through to give the product a deep, rich colour, the CP1130 is a distinguished accent to any space.  And, given the fine craftsmanship that went into this collection, we are confident that this product will be as long-lasting and illustrious as the relationship between man and their horse.

A fine example of British craftsmanship, the ‘Jesse II’ leather strap handles are handmade using bridle leather which is dyed all the way through to produce a deep and lasting colour. The edges are burnished for the perfect finish and to prevent any fraying. These cabinet pulls are available in all our signature finishes and six leather colours.
