JOSEPH GILES CH1038 - 'FLY PRESS' CABINET HANDLE

Our intricate ‘Fly Press’ cabinet handle was created to showcase the unique style and designs which can be achieved using traditional blacksmith techniques.

The brass is placed on hot coals until it softens, at which point the metal is distorted and shaped using a traditional fly press which creates its unique shape and texture. The pattern is evenly applied across the piece, however, as they are made by hand each handle will vary slight variations.

At Joseph Giles, we appreciate and admire traditional manufacturing techniques and understand the importance of keeping the art of craftsmanship alive in the products that we design.

Handmade solid brass cabinet handle with a fly press textured surface. These are available in a range of sizes and a selection of finishes.

They are supplied as single items with solid brass M4 fixing bolts (FT1030) in a matching finish.
